Hello, my name is Helen and this is my profile page.  I'm not very good at talking or writing about myself, but I will give it shot and see how I perform.

I recently joined hubpages becasue my ex-boyfriend was using it and making a truck load of residual income every month. So I did what any self-respecting person would do and quickly signed up as well. Ever since joining, I have been working hard to write as many article as I can. It can be difficult sometime - you run out of ideas, work and family commitments get in the way, and many other things. Although, I'm a trained developer, writing does not come naturally to me. It is something I do when working for clients - so I thought I would transfer some of the things I've learned working for those client here.

I enjoy learning new things and seeing how people handle different situations, and hubpages is one of those places where all these happen. I've popped into the forum a few times and saw how busy and engaging people are.

Over the years a number of my blogs and sites have been doing quite well. Seeing how they are doing, I would like to replicate that here as well. It is not all about making money, (although it helps) I love sharing information and learning from others. That's why I will be adding more hubs to the ones already here, like the 17 inch laptop backpack. If have a laptop and are looking to save on backpack, check it first before you commit your money.

Late last year, I met a guy who ran a very successful blog and asked if I could guest post there, he agreed and allowed me to make a post Heated Blanket. This is something that I'm passionate about because of my mum. She used a few during the winter period - including Wool Blankets and Throws. Because of that I go out of my way to see and learn about what people use to keep warm during those cold months.
